Identify what is making the day difficult
Separate a brief demand from pressure that keeps returning. Write down the situation, what you noticed in your body and how long it took to settle. A deadline, conflict, money worry and caring responsibility may require different kinds of support. A device can estimate selected body signals, but it cannot know which part of your circumstances needs to change.

Choose a response that fits the cause
A short pause, an unhurried walk or talking to someone may help with an immediate difficult moment. Ongoing demands may call for practical support, clearer boundaries or changes at work. Make the next step specific enough to act on: which demand can be reduced, which conversation can happen, and who can help?

Understand stress scores and cortisol claims
Heart-pattern estimates are not a direct measure of a hormone. Do not diagnose high cortisol or burnout from an app score. The cortisol guide explains how clinical tests differ from consumer tracking, while the acute-versus-chronic-stress article helps describe patterns in ordinary language.

Know when to ask for more support
Seek professional support when stress affects sleep, mood, relationships or everyday function over time. Physical symptoms should not automatically be blamed on stress. If a symptom is sudden or severe, use appropriate urgent care. Keep a short account of the impact so the conversation can focus on what you need.
