Review what you connect
Before connecting a wearable or another source, check the requested permissions and whether each category is needed for the feature you want. Access to activity data is different from access to a full health record. Review source permissions again when your needs change.

Disconnecting and deleting are different actions
Revoking a source connection can stop future access without necessarily deleting information already stored. Deleting an account or requesting an export may follow a separate process. Use the account controls and published privacy contact to confirm the effect and timing of the action you want.

Keep website privacy choices separate from health records
The footer Privacy choices control manages optional website measurement. It is not a control for deleting a health account or revoking a wearable connection. Use the appropriate account or provider settings for those requests.

Send requests through the right route
State whether you want access, correction, export, deletion or information about a permission. Avoid including medical documents in a general enquiry unless the service has provided a secure and appropriate channel. Consult the privacy policy for the applicable process.
