What a blood-test review should cover
A useful review explains why the test was requested, what the relevant results mean in your circumstances and whether follow-up is needed. It should consider symptoms, medicines, history and previous results. It is more than translating every high or low flag into a label.

Upload the complete original report
Include the collection date, laboratory, units, reference intervals and comments through the provider’s secure channel. If you have previous results, keep them in date order and identify any difference in laboratory or units. Tell the clinician whether preparation instructions were followed and about relevant supplements.

Ask about decisions, not just ranges
Ask which findings matter, whether a difference is meaningful, what could affect the result and what action is recommended. Clarify whether a repeat test is needed, when to do it and who will review it. A normal range is not the same as a personal treatment target.

Do not wait on an urgent instruction
If the laboratory or ordering clinician has already requested urgent action, follow that instruction rather than waiting for a separate online review. Digital interpretation cannot replace urgent assessment or a physical examination when one is needed.
