- 01A LITTLE MORE CLARITY
Eligibility is an individual assessment
A licensed provider must decide whether a treatment or program is appropriate. A single weight, BMI estimate or wearable score cannot settle that decision. Requirements vary by treatment, clinical history, age, location and local rules; this website does not issue an eligibility approval.

Information the provider needs
Prepare relevant diagnoses, medicines, allergies, previous treatments and important changes in health. Explain your goals and any concerns about disordered eating or mental wellbeing. Ask the provider which records are necessary, and share them only through the designated secure channel.

Questions to ask before paying
Confirm whether the assessment fee is charged if you are not eligible, whether a prescription is guaranteed—it should not be—and what alternatives may be discussed. Check location coverage, clinician registration and the distinction between assessment, medication and follow-up costs.

If a medicine is not appropriate
Ask about other suitable support and how to coordinate with your usual clinician. A negative eligibility decision is not a reason to seek an unlicensed source. Do not stop existing medicine, self-prescribe or use a prescription obtained for another person.
